US Charging Network Facts
- Vehicle-to-port ratio: The year-end 2023 BEV fleet is about 13.9 cars per current public port. The fleet number is older than the charger snapshot, so the live ratio is likely higher.
- Fast charging: 29.5% of public ports are DC fast. Tesla-branded networks account for 50.2% of those DC ports.
- California: 35.3% of the U.S. BEV fleet and 26.1% of public ports. Next in ports: New York and Florida.
